The Zalmi Gilgit Baltistan Girls Football League will be held in September in collaboration with Peshawar Zalmi.

In terms of media and brand value, Pakistan Super League’s #1 franchise Peshawar Zalmi will play a vital role in promoting the Girls Football League after the successful event of the mixed martial arts.

The Zalmi Gilgit Baltistan Girls Football League will be held in Gilgit-Baltistan from September 13 to 17 in partnership with Zalmi TV.

The Gilgit-Baltistan Girls Football League was initiated by footballers Karisma Inayat and Samira and now in collaboration with Peshawar Zalmi.

Most league matches will be played at the beautiful Passo Football Ground.

Chairman Peshawar Zalmi Mr. Javed Afridi said that Peshawar Zalmi and Zalmi Foundation would play a vital role in the Youth and Women Empowerment.

He added; after mixed martial arts, the girls would support the Football League and other sports as well, and Zalmi would continue his mission of promoting sports through TV.

Footballers Karisma Inayat and Samira said in their message that The football league with the support of Peshawar Zalmi is a great opportunity for Women footballers to express their capabilities. Peshawar Zalmi and Javed Afridi are grateful for this cooperation.

The Girls Football League will have eight teams from Gilgit-Baltistan and 120 women footballers in action.
