Indian #NobelLaureate Slams Decision over occupied #Kashmir

Amartya Sen, Indian Economist and Nobel Prize laureate, criticized Modi’s choice to revocate the unique status of Occupied Kashmir, stating that India had “lost the prestige,” being the first non-Western nation in the world to embrace a democratic regime.

Sen said in an interview with Indian TV channel NDTV, as an Indian I’m not proud of the fact that India is losing a democratic country’s reputation on the grounds of action taken.
