#PrinceWilliam, #KateMiddleton will probably stop visiting Pakistan in the midst of disturbances in Occupied #Kashmir

Due to the rising tensions between India and Pakistan over occupied Kashmir, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton may be taking a rain-check on their visit to Pakistan.

According to reports quoting a declaration issued by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of Britain, the royal duo’s visit seems unlikely considering the present turn of events in the region that gave rise to further dispute.

The royal couple’s journey, which would have marked their first ever journey to the nation, resulted in confusion after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi abrogated Article 370 of the Constitution, removing the unique status of the battered and disputed region and thus creating tensions in the midst of a full blackout and lock-down of communications.

An official statement from the royal family had announced earlier in June that, at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the couple would visit Pakistan later this year.
