Policeman injured in grenade attack, as armed men storm Pakistan Stock exchange


A grenade attack outside the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday left four people injured, according to Geo News.

According to police officials, the militants at first attacked the stock exchange with a grenade and then stormed the building. Police said three of the four terrorists have been killed while one remains inside the building.

A police officer and the security guard stationed outside the PSX building were among the wounded, with the injured being shifted to Civil Hospital. The surrounding areas have been sealed by police and Rangers personnel.

Governer Sindh Imran Ismail tweeted that he has instructed the inspector general of police and security agencies to catch the militants alive.

“We shall protect Sindh at all costs,” tweeted the governor while condemning the attack.
