Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan has urged major international powers to raise their voice in support of Kashmiris and bring an immediate and to human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Talking to former Norwegian Prime Minister, Kjell Magne Bondevik in New York, he said resolution of the Kashmir issue is imperative for regional and world peace.
Masood Khan said Kashmir dispute calls for a lasting solution which can only be achieved through implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions that call for a free and fair plebiscite.
He said Pakistan and people of Kashmir seek a peaceful resolution of the dispute but India is threatening regional peace. He said any militaristic misadventure by India may jeopardize regional and global peace.
